Axure License Portal
In this guide, you’ll learn how to navigate through the Axure License Portal, which is where you can purchase and assign Axure RP subscriptions.
Note
If you already have a subscription assigned to your account and need to activate Axure RP, please review our activation guide.
Note
If you purchased a subscription via a purchase order or invoice, certain actions such as transferring ownership, changing the billing term, or changing the product edition will need to be handled by our sales operations team. Please contact sales@axure.com for assistance.
Subscription Roles
Subscriptions have three roles: the owner, manager, and assigned user. Each role can be fulfilled by the same person, or different people.
Owner: The owner of a subscription is responsible for the subscription’s billing, can access receipts, and make changes to the subscription’s product edition and billing term.
Manager: Managers can assign and unassign subscriptions, and add or remove other managers.
Assigned User: The assigned user is the user who will be using Axure RP.
Purchasing a Subscription
Once you create an Axure account and sign in to the Axure License Portal, you can purchase Axure RP subscriptions and Axure Cloud for Business subscriptions by selecting the Buy tab at the top of the page.
When purchasing a subscription, you’ll be able to choose which product edition (Pro, Team, or Enterprise), and which billing term (annual or monthly).
If you have previously purchased other subscriptions, you’ll also be able to choose whether to have the new subscription(s) added to an existing subscription group so that they have the same billing date. Alternatively, you can choose to start a new subscription group.
Note
When adding new subscriptions to an existing group, your payment at check-out will be prorated to the remainder of the billing term, and a subscription group adjustment line will appear.
Subscription Management
In the Manage Products tab of the Axure License Portal, owners and managers of a subscription can complete a variety of actions, such as assigning subscriptions to end-users, adding additional managers, changing the product edition, etc. Read the below sections for more details:

To assign a subscription to the end-user who will be using Axure RP, click on the Unassigned link, enter the assignee’s email address, and then click Assign.
To unassign the current assignee, or to change the assignee, click the kebab menu under the Actions header in the row of the subscription you want to update, and select Assign from the context menu.
Then, in the dialog that appears, you can either enter a new user’s email address, or click Unassign.
Adding and Removing Managers
Owners and managers can add additional managers, and remove current managers. To add or remove a manager, click the kebab menu under the Actions header in the row of the subscription and then select Add Managers or Remove Managers.
